The Society was formed by a group long time Anti-Scam Professionals under the leadership of Dr. Tim McGuinness, who has been fighting scams online for the last 25 years.
As a businessman and co-founder of TigerDirect in 1985, he has seen first hand how online fraud has evolved and grown to epidemic proportions. In fact, it is now a multi-billion dollar industry supporting neither 100,000 online fraudsters worldwide.
