This service is to provide assistance and guidance for victims of financial fraud originating via scam phone calls, emails, or online. It is for confirmed scam victims and the family of scam victims only. Appointments will only be available to confirmed victims who are members of a SCARS support group or forum on request.
If you request a support consultation and you are not a member of one of the SCARS support groups or forums, you must join and be approved before this service can be provided.
SCARS makes no warranty as to the efficacy of our services. They are not intended to diagnose or cure any medical or psychological problems, conditions, or disease.
This service is not a mental healthcare service; it is not counseling nor therapy. If you feel that you need mental healthcare we suggest that you look for local trauma counseling or therapy. SCARS accepts no responsibility for any actions by a scam victim or family member following a consultation, and the information is provided for educational purposes only.
SCARS reserves the right to deny services to any person that in its sole view is not a suitable candidate for this service, and may make recommendations for other more suitable services or professionals. Any deception detected by SCARS in its sole opinion will result in denial of any or all SCARS services or their immediate termination.
SCARS maintains the confidentiality of the involvement of the scam victim or their family but may use the information or recordings for internal support & training purposes only.
