The SCARS Institute Academy provides free educational courses for scam victims and survivors, their families and friends, advocates, volunteers, and professionals who support people affected by fraud and psychological manipulation.
For victims and survivors, education helps replace confusion with understanding. Learning how scams work, how manipulation affects judgment and attachment, and how trauma influences emotions and behavior supports stronger recovery and better future decisions.
Families and friends gain a clearer understanding of what victims experience and how to provide support without blame, pressure, or misunderstanding. Advocates and professionals gain practical knowledge about victimization, trauma, communication, recovery, and the realities of modern scams.
The Academy is designed for self-paced learning, allowing each person to build knowledge at a level appropriate to their needs and role.
